To My Best Friend

To my best friend,

From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you for consistently being there for me throughout my entire journey here in West Virginia. I felt every ounce of love and support you have shown me over the last four years, and I honestly don't think I could've made it through the ups and downs without you. We have known each other for such a long time, and through everything life has thrown at us, we've stayed right by each other's side. That's something not everyone gets to experience, and I'll never take that for granted.

You've been there for some of the biggest moments of my life, from beating our bitter backyard rivals to celebrating those Mayo Bowl championships. And just like you showed up for me, I'll never forget being there for you, too – watching you step into your first classroom and seeing how passionate you were, or celebrating when your Birds finally won the Super Bowl. Those moments meant a lot to me because I got to see you win, and you deserve every bit of it.

I'm so incredibly proud of how far you've come. The growth I've seen in you over the years is honestly inspiring, and I know you're only going to keep going. You have this way of pushing through anything that comes your way, and it's something I've always looked up to.

There are so many things I admire about you: your work ethic, your sense of humor, and the way you can walk into a dull room and instantly make it feel alive. But the thing that stands out the most is your ability to make my worst days feel manageable.

No matter what I was going through, you always knew how to bring me back to myself. Whether it was making me laugh when I didn't even feel like smiling or just reminding me that I mattered, you've always had that impact on me. You've helped me realize that it's okay to open up and that I don't have to carry everything on my own. Even during times when we don't talk as much, your presence is still there in my life, and that says a lot about the kind of person you are.

As I keep chasing my goals and trying to make it in the football industry, I can only hope you'll continue to be right there with me through everything that comes next. Because I know one thing for sure, the impact you've had on me is something that will stay with me forever. There's so much more I could say, but I think you already know how much you mean to me.

Till we speak again...

To you, a thousand years from now, I love you more.
