The West Virginia University College of Applied Human Sciences, the newest college at WVU, officially launched its website at appliedhumansciences.wvu.edu.
The website features comprehensive information on the college and all of its academic programs housed within the three schools that comprise the new unit: the School of Counseling and Well-Being, the School of Education and the School of Sport Sciences.
The website also highlights resources for future students and current students, the research and engagement activity by the college and news and events. It was developed by WVU University Relations in coordination with multiple working groups and CAHS staff.
In addition to the website, the college will deliver up-to-date information via its social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
The College of Applied Human Sciences officially began on July 1 and is preparing for its inaugural fall semester. The new college is a result of the merger between the former College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and College of Education and Human Services as part of the University’s academic transformation efforts. Web pages and links from CPASS and CEHS will now redirect to the new college.
In May, Autumn Tooms Cyprès was named the founding dean of the college. She began her duties with the start of the college on July 1.
