Chris Mann, B.S. (2002) sport management, serves as vice president of partnerships at Dignitas, a professional esports organization in Newark, N.J. He knows how to craft connections.
When Dignitas and Verizon announced the new state-of-the-art Esports practice facility, Verizon 5G Gaming Center in Los Angeles, Mann provided leadership and expertise to ensure that the initiative was solid.
“My role in the partnership was spearheading the relationship and developing the opportunity to launch Verizon into esports,” Mann said.
Mann says Verizon is a world innovator. “Working with our team and Verizon, we crafted a true partnership where Verizon would not only build DIG a new home in Los Angeles but provide us the technology to compete at the highest levels in esports," Mann added.
"The Verizon and DIG partnership is built on innovation and connectivity over Verizon's incredible 5G network. Along with helping us compete, Verizon's 5G network will keep DIG connected on both coasts and to our passionate community of fans,” he said.
According to Mann, DIG and Verizon plan to forge the next wave of esports powered by Verizon 5G.
