Patty Weston-Anderson, assistant accountant in the business office in the West Virginia University College of Applied Human Sciences, has announced her retirement effective Friday, Feb. 2.
"It’s been a privilege and honor to meet and work with everyone over the years,” Weston-Anderson said. “Although I am excited to start the next chapter of my life, the thought of leaving is bittersweet. I will miss working with everyone and will cherish my many memories."
Weston-Anderson started at WVU as an administrative secretary through Mountaineer Temps before becoming a full-time receptionist in the Office of Sponsored Programs. She then spent the last 12 years in the business office in the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and the College of Applied Human Sciences.
“Patty has such a good work ethic and is a great team player,” said Tracy Wheeler, college business officer for CAHS. “Her expertise in so many facets of business operations will be dearly missed. I wish her all the best in her next chapter."
